- Arbitrage
- Betting on all possible outcomes with different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap system that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage to make betting more balanced.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether each team will score at least one goal during the match.
- Correct Score
- A bet on the exact final score of a match.
- Deposit Limit
- A setting that caps the amount of money you can deposit into your betting account over a chosen period.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, increasing your chances of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you win if your chosen team wins, and get your stake back if the match ends in a draw.
- Edge
- An advantage you have over the bookmaker due to knowledge or analysis.
- First Goal Scorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in the match.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that combines the result at half-time and the result at full-time in one wager.
- Hedge
- Placing a second bet to reduce the risk of loss on an existing bet.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing a bet after the match has started, with odds that change as the game unfolds.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker adds to the odds, often seen as the price of placing a bet.
- Kelly Criterion
- A formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on your perceived edge.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds
- The number that tells you how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be more or less than a set number.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Push
- When a bet ends in a tie and the stake is returned, resulting in no win or loss.
